★ Clint was raised by an alcoholic father who eventually died in a drunk driving incident along with Clint's mother. Clint views this as his father killing his mother and holds some guilt over it since his father tried to get Clint to go out with him, but his mother went in his place. He lost his hearing after a series of domestic violence instances with his father. His older brother Barney told him he needed to start defending himself and not just take it. After the death of their parents, Clint and Barny ended up in some very rough foster homes before running away and joining the circus. This set the groundwork for Clint's future as an assassin, Street Level Hero, and Avenger.
